Our Purpose
Community Policing is one of the most active and impactful units of NCC UDAAN, dedicated to fostering a strong connection between citizens and law enforcement through discipline, awareness, and public service. With the support and mentorship of Prantosh Kumar Das, the initiative expanded into traffic management and various public service activities under the Police Act of 1861, leading to the formation of the Community Traffic Police (CTP).
Under the leadership and guidance of Brig Ran Vijay Singh, then Group Commander NCC Group Patna, and with the continued support of Prantosh Kumar Das, then SP Traffic Patna, the Community Policing unit has grown into a structured and dedicated force, contributing significantly to road safety, public awareness, and community welfare initiatives.
